Staff and students celebrated IWD across NSI in activities supported by the Institute Women’s Strategy, College Associations, Libraries, and interested teaching sections and staff.
Crows Nest College conducted a Women and Tourism, Hospitality and Events Management luncheon with three industry speakers.
North Sydney College Association had a female performer in the canteen at lunch time.
Hornsby College had a CEEW and WOW students and staff morning tea.
Epping had a free band and lunch provided by the Ryde College Association.
The Institute supported the FITT IWD Luncheon at Parliament House 4 IT and sponsored four students to attend.
Hornsby College presented ‘Hornsby Women in the Workplace”, a Graphic Design and the Arts lunch time talk with industry speakers
Meadowbank College had tarot card reading and a female singer provided by the College Association.

Northern Beaches College presented a female performer and had BBQ provided by the College Association.
Hornsby College Association provided a Morning Tea with free give-aways.
Northern Beaches College had a luncheon at Pittwater Restaurant with guest speaker Ronni Kahn, Founding Director of OzHarvest.
Northern Beaches College also had a Women and IT luncheon with guest speaker Ingrid Webber, CXC Managing Director where students and staff contributed to a shared lunch.
Hornsby, Meadowbank and Northern Beaches libraries had displays and information available for women students and staff.
